I love the collaborative process involved in crafting and shaping story ideas. While I will always consider myself a writer first, helping to guide storytellers of all backgrounds and experience levels toward the words and structures that clarify and make topics as compelling as possible is my true passion.
Stories produced from these collaborations have been syndicated by dozens of publications over the years, including The Guardian, The Atlantic, Forbes, Scientific American, Sierra, Atlas Obscura, and others, and have been recognized by a number of professional journalistic organizations, such as the American Society of Journalists and Authors and the American Geophysical Union’s Walter Sullivan Award for Excellence in Science Journalism.
